As a certified Passive House tradesperson, Luca applies Passive House principles to deliver homes with superior airtightness, high-performance insulation, and balanced mechanical ventilation.
Material selection plays a critical role in how a home performs and how it feels to live in. We take a considered approach to every product used, prioritising low-toxicity, low-VOC, and natural materials wherever possible. Many standard construction materials can off-gas harmful chemicals over time, impacting indoor air quality. By being selective, we create healthier internal spaces that support long-term occupant health rather than compromise it.
Moisture management and mould prevention are fundamental to our process. Through proper detailing, ventilation strategies, and condensation control, we minimise the conditions that allow mould to develop. This is not treated as an afterthought—it is built into the design and construction from the very beginning, ensuring your home remains dry, durable, and safe.
We also consider elements that are often overlooked in residential construction, including EMF (electromagnetic field) exposure. Through intentional planning of electrical layouts and smart construction methods, we aim to reduce unnecessary exposure and create a more balanced living environment.

Pre Construction Consulting (PAC Process)
At True Built, our Pre-Construction Consulting—also known as our Paid as a Consultant (PAC) Process—is designed to bring clarity, structure, and confidence to your project before construction begins. Rather than rushing into a build with incomplete information or unresolved details, we take the time upfront to properly plan, assess, and align every aspect of your project. This process allows you to make informed decisions early, reducing the risk of unexpected costs, delays, and compromises later on.
Through the PAC Process, we work closely with you, your designer, and any consultants involved to develop a clear and buildable outcome. This includes reviewing plans, providing detailed cost estimates, offering value management options, and ensuring the design aligns with your budget and expectations.
